i think i got the whole personal media archive concept a little wrong. its becoming nearly impossible every day and no one including future me, is ever gonna go through the terabytes of pictures ive captured and stored on hard drives and cloud.
instagram is basically the only way for photo dumps and share moments with friends and family, but we all know the current state of that app and for the same reason i dont want to use it. for the first time in a very long time, i feel like i have nowhere to go.
physical photobooks and zines could be an answer, but they need curation and arent as spontaneous and accessible to everyone as instagram.

random entry from my journal. but now i think vulture having no algorithm as such, being an invite-only platform, with posts accessible publicly if you give it enough time, could actually solve this.
thats one of the reasons im rooting for it.

The only somewhat reasonable solution to this I can think of is hosting images on your own personal website to use as a timeline, but I do agree that vulture achieves that same effect due to the minimalism.
