I've caught wind that, ~4 days from now, Ubuntu will be replacing some core command-line utilities like cp, mv, and rm with Rust implementations.
I haven't dug too deep into the topic myself yet, but what do you guys think about the situation? Broadly speaking I'm on the side of "if it ain't broke don't fix it," but maybe it' is truly better?
